Can't change to US Student Account

I have a premium account. I have tried to switch to get the US student discount but it does not work as it is supposed to.

I clicked 'Get Premium' directly from the student page (link above). I logged in. It does not take me to the page "Tell us about yourself" as it is supposed to. Instead, it just takes me to my 'Accounts Overview'. This seems to be a glitch, it does not take me to the correct page as indicated in the step-by-step guide. I have wasted countless hours and am being overcharged as I do qualify for this US student discount. Can someone please help? Thanks.
