My Question or Issue

I can't seem to edit my account info at all. My username is a bunch of random letters and numbers and none of the other threads here seem to help. I have no "edit profile" button anywhere on mobile (I followed the posted instructions exactly). My friends and I signed up with Facebook, but they can edit their accounts and I can't.

All I want to do is change my display name to my name. Currently, my username/display name is 31apxgezasdurrdafw7qfhlb6kgq. My friends can't recognize me and I'm tired of seeing this. Is there something wrong with my account?

Can you provide your original username so I'd look for it to see if it appears on my private account ?

Furthermore I'd say, this change might be temporary.

Have you disconnected your Spotify account from your Facebook account ?
