Can't choose a password for my device

Can't choose a password for my device

Hi,

 

I want to choose a password for my device, si I  go My Account > Set Device Password, I ask to receive a link by email, which I get. Now I click on to this link, I get redirected to a page where I get to choose my new password. However none of the password I try to input work. I get the following screen :

 

Text in red means "A problem occured when creating the password".

 

Any idea ? I don't get more information than this and do not find any way to contact spotify helpdesk.

Hi @alexandregbxl,

 

There's a chance that even though you are getting an error message the password is actually being set.

So set the password, get the error message (There was a problem setting your password), ignore it and then log in using the device ID and password.
