Can't enter my spotify account, and Facebook seems to have created a new one.

Yesterday my spotifyaccount informed me that i needed to sign in, even though I'm usually automatically signed in. I couldn't get my password right, so I tried to sign in through Facebook. (first time, the account is 8years or so). Instead it created a new account with a new user ID- but with the same email as the old account. I have a payed family memebership,and now I cant seem to enter my account or reset the password, since it only respons to the new empty account. Resetting password with my username doesn't work either, since the email is connected to it.

Any advise or help?

I have the exact same issue! I was all of a sudden logged out from all of my units, and when I tried logging in via Facebook, Spotify created a new, empty account connected to my email. I have a premium subscription and all my playlist on my "old" account. I tried writing to customer support, but they only referred me here to the Community. So would really like some tips as well.
