Can't get premuim

Can't get premuim

So I tried signing up for a student account last week and I could never get it to go through so I just canceled it. Well I looked on my billing statement last week and I had 2 $4.99 charges. They don't say pending anymore but I still can't get premium. I have tried logging out and logging back in, I've made sure I don't have 2 accounts and I still can't get premuim. Why did it charge me twice and why can't I get premuim?

Hey @ashley_msnipes,

 

If Spotify is unable to verify your student I.D, then unfortunately you won’t be eligible to claim the student discount via https://spotify.com/student. In this instance, any charges will show on your statement as ‘pending’. This means your bank has put a temporary authorization on the funds, but no money has actually been taken. Once the bank confirms your student I.D failed to verify successfully, the money will reappear on your statement. The time this takes can vary, depending on your bank.
