Can't log even though I have changed the password multiple times on laptop

I've tried logging in to Spotify through my laptop and I have had to reset my password multiple times yet it still won't log me in and just says "Incorrect password or username" I am certain that I am using the correct password and email/username

Hey

 

That error may be a connection based error which means the Spotify client was unable to communicate with the Spotify servers. Normally it does mean your connection is being prevented by a firewall or other security software - but it can also be caused by other factors. 

 

You could try to connect using a different Wifi network, just to see if it's a local issue or a network one.
