Can't log in after creating account

Can't log in after creating account

I have signed up on spotify but now I am trying to log in and it keeps telling me that I already have an account with this email address. If thats the case, then why won't it just log me in?

Sorry to read that you're having trouble with logging in to your Spotify account. Don't worry, I'd love to take a look into this for you. First of all, when logging in are you using the username that you created when signing up for Spotify? If so, it may be worth trying to refresh your account's password. You can do this over at https://www.spotify.com/uk/password-reset/.

 
If this doesn't help out with your login issue, I'd recommend reaching out to our Accounts team. They'll be able to take a look behind the scenes. You can do this by heading over to our contact form. Should you get what looks like an automated reply, just reply back to it and the right team will get your email.

I have sent another request via contact form. Bit, I would like to speak to
someone live who can walk me through the process or trouble shoot my
account to see what the glitch is. Otherwise I am deleting this app
completely and moving on.
