My Question or Issue

I forgot my password and tried to reset it, but turns out I accidentally typed my email address in wrong when I first signed up, so I'm not getting the emails. But to change my email address I need to know my password. I tried using the support feature but whenever I click the links for the support chat or anything like that it asks me to log in, which I can't do because I don't know my password.

The best thing to do here is to create a new free account and get in contact with support. If you let them know the username of your original account they should be able to help updating your login details and give you back access. It's best if you prepare some old Spotify receipts or other payment info, so that the support team can verify you as the rightful owner of the account.

I do not have access to my email account linked to my Spotify so cannot reset my password. i wonder if i can reset it using a phone number?
