Can’t log in and reset password

Hello!

My friend signed up ages ago and doesn’t remember the password. Whenever he tries to Log In using his email address, and use the forgot password option, it says, "The username or email you provided is not associated with an active Spotify account". But when he tries to create a new account using the same e-mail, it says "This email is already connected to an account". He doesn’t have a FB profile and has only one e-mail address he’s been using forever.

It would be best if your friend contacts our Customer Support team. He can do this via this page. Our colleagues would be more than happy to check his email backstage and find the root cause of the problem.
