My Question or Issue

When I try to log in a pop up says ' you can only use spotify abroad for 14 days. Update your location using spotify.com'. Tried to do this but site won't let me edit my location (or any other details).  If I close the pop up mentioned above I get a second pop up saying 'need help logging in'. When I choose 'get help' it asks me to check my email. The email has a reset password link but that just takes me to the 'update location' pop up and when I close it I return to the check email screen and can't get any further. Help gratefully received.

You wrote on your details that you account type is Free/Premium.

Can you please confirm which type of account you're registered to ?

not subscribed to premium.

If you have never subscribed to Spotify Premium and only used the Free version of the app you're entitled of using it abroad up to 14 days as mentioned here.

 

However when subscribing to Premium, the account is unlimited on it's use in a different country than where it was initialy created.

 

Note: In case you're considering the Premium subscription, make sure to register through your country of residence.
