Can't log in

All of a sudden, I cant log in to free service. Checked all FAQ's, reset pw, updated to dif e-mail account. Entered username, then pw, then click to turn on......nothing, no error msg, nothing.....can still log in to Spotify account, but cant get the music going...Checked all settings, uninstalled, reinstalled, checked cookies, cache, internet options, etc. Getting e-mails from spotify to my e-mail acct. but cant log in to music. Everything else logging in correctly, on p.c. internet, etc......**bleep**! Right before this all happened, I was listening to music, went to log-off, and saw notice to upgrade/restart? Did all that, went offline, returned......cant log in to listen to music, now......**bleep**!

Just to check, is this happening across all your devices? Also, can you make sure you're following these steps to log in?

No, just my laptop.......but funny thing.... I just opened my android phone to listen to Spotify music, while browsing my laptop, and lo, & behold, I got error msg. on phone, saying "Spotify is not responding" do you want to close? ( Gr8)
