My Question or Issue

I was randomly logged out one day and when I tried to log in it kept saying that something was wrong and I should try again later. It’s been almost two weeks and it’s still saying that when I try to log in and I try often everyday. Please help because I’ve tried changing my password, reinstalling my app and switching off my phone. Thank you

Thanks for trying those steps!

Alright, does this happen when you create a new Spotify account (just to test)? When you create the account, log in using that new account in the app and let me know if the same issue occurs.

Let's take a look. 

Could you try following the steps provided in this support article, and let me know the outcome for each step? You can also send me a screenshot of the error message shown when you try to log in (make sure to hide sensitive info when posting to the Community).

 

Make sure when you're resetting your password here, write it down somewhere so you don't forget. And let me know if you got an email regarding other logins in your account that you don't remember, and let me know if you're able to log in to your account here

Hey thanks for trying to help me. Unfortunately it still isn’t working for me it keeps saying that something went wrong. I added a picture of what it says. Thanks again

Are you able to log in to your account here

 

If so, try a clean reinstall of the app following these steps and try again. You can also follow the troubleshooting steps in the support article I provided in my last reply.

I’m able to log in on their website just not on the app. I do get emails sometimes when I try to log in and I even tried the log in without a password which didn’t help either

Hey. I have tried reinstalling multiple times and I just tried again right now but it isn’t working. I also tried switching off my phone and everything. The last time that it logged out it didn’t take this long to log back in. I’m not sure what to do. Thanks for your patience

I created a new account and logged out and logged back in but then tried logging into my actual account and it worked! Thank you so much!
