Can't log into app

I'm about at my wits end. . . I got a new phone and when I went to log into the new spotify app, it says user name or password incorrect, but they work just fine with the website. Also, when I click the link "forgot password?", it says it's emailed me so I can change my password, but I haven't gotten anything . . I've also uninstalled and reinstalled but still no luck. . . Help!

I'm having exactly the same problem. New phone LG G6, reset password 5 times. Logs into website just fine...app says wrong email or password, reinstalled twice ect ect.
Spotify help please!,!!! 😬

Try your user name instead of email. I'm in now!
