Can't log into my android Spotify app

I can login to the website fine but my android app is playing up. It doesn't give me any error message and after 3 tries it just gives me if I want to retrieve my password.

I also tried using my Facebook login. The same result. Takes me back to the log in screen every time.

Have you tried to use your username instead of your email address in the login process?

Found the solution. Apparently I need to change my country settings in my profile if I m away from my home country for more than 2 weeks.
