Can't log into new account

Can't log into new account

I downloaded the app to my new IPhone7 and signed up for premium. I get error messages when I try to log on through Facebook or with direct log in. I have tried changing Password twice. I can get onto the website however (obviously) on my PC.

Let me correct what I said.  I can log onto the website with that information NOT the app on either laptop or Iphone.

Note that I can login through the app on my  laptop without difficulty.

How are you trying to log into the Spotify app?

 

  1. using Facebook
  2. using username and password
  3. using email address and password

Although I cannot log in on my IPhone, I can use the website and have started collecting my music.  Just cant get on with my new phone.
 

Sorry.  I am a Moron.  I was using my email address as my user id, not just the first part.
