Can't login in offline mode, already uninstalled/reinstalled app, workaround not working

My Question or Issue

 I was logged out of Spotify on my iPhone 7 and now can't log in because I was in offline mode before I was logged out.  Other Community posts about this have recommended deleting my password and re-entering it and that it should let me log in then -- it doesn't.  They also recommend uninstalling and reinstalling the entire Spotify app -- also didn't work.  Can anyone help please?  My understanding is that Spotify is aware of this problem but has not taken steps to fix it yet.

Until this is resolved, I am completely unable to use my paid Spotify subscription on my phone, which is my primary device.  This is a huge problem.

Reinstalling the app should reset all preferences of the app. Seeing that this didn't happen for you, let's try a more thorough approach:

1. On your iPhone tap Settings > General > iPhone Storage
2. Select Spotify
3. Offload the app, then tap Uninstall
4. Turn off your iPhone and wait 2 minutes
5. Switch your iPhone back on and install Spotify from the App Store

If that doesn't help, try to connect via a different network to see if that makes a difference.
