My Question or Issue

Previously I had been using Spotify across Windows Phone, Android, and Windows 10 apps. I am now only able to login into the Web Player. I have tried repeatedly uninstalling and reinstalling across platforms; I put in the login information that I've always used previously, and it just gets stuck saying "logging in". I've tried logging in using my Facebook info, with the same outcome. I used my user name that's listed in the Web Player, with the same outcome. I even updated to a new email address, with no new results. I have also tried using without the @gmail.com when attempting to login using my email address. The current Windows 10 app is the only one that actually gives an error message, which is included below.

Open to any suggestions that may help.

Hi there!

I know it sounds simple, but it's often overlooked. Could you try restarting your device? If that doesn't help, try a quick clean reinstall of the app. Just follow these steps.

Have you tried it with another network connection? Could you check for any pending updates?

If you're still having trouble, could you let me know the exact version of Spotify and the exact version of the operating system you're running?

I'll see what I can suggest next!

Yes, I have definitely tried restarting each device; in between
uninstalling and reinstalling the app. On Android I am running version 7.0
and Spotify version 8.4.74.463; which I just updated to.
I'm running Windows 10 Home Version 1809 OS build 17763.55 and Spotify
version 1.90.268.0

Hey @Kevinki,

Have you tried it with another network connection? Could you check for any pending updates?

Let me know how it goes 🙂

I finally downloaded the most recent version of Spotify from the App Store
to my up to date iPhone 6S. When I first tried to sign in on the same WiFi
network I got the same results. Then I tried disconnecting from WiFi and
signing in over my cell network, and it worked! So now I know that it's my
works WiFi network causing the problem; is there any work around?

Hey @Kevinki,

Thanks for letting me know 🙂

Could you try it with another wifi connection?

You can try to reset the network modem to resolve this.

Thanks!
