Can't login to spotify account and can't reset my password

Can't login to spotify account and can't reset my password

Im trying to login to my spotify account, I use the right information and it logs in for like a second or two then it logs out and tells me my login information is wrong. I then tried to reset my password, but I don't even get an email telling me where to go.

Just an FYI, I am having problems with another account. I had this account prior and am just using it to post.

Try logging into your Spotify profile on your browser here with your email. Your username will be displayed after you login.


After that, logout of the app in your device, and be sure to use that username, instead of your email address, to login to your account. Hopefully it will let you in.

I have exactly the same situation. Moreover, I cannot even login to the community website and I had to open a temporary account (which you can see by the name, temp_user1) to report the issue.

 

>> Reset password form says that they've sent me an email, but no email in Inbox or Junk folder.

 

>> SpotifyCares twitter account is also not replying.

 

>> I've filled a contact form and received no emails.

 

And more interestingly, nowhere it is declared that Spotify IS DOWN, at least for some people.

The best way to know if Spotify's down is by following @SpotifyStatus and checking DownDetector.

 

If you contact support from your account, the support reply may probably go to the wrong email. You should at least get an automated 'message received' email.

 

Log out of the Spotify website in your browser and fill out this other contact form. Someone from Spotify will be happy to help you out.

 

Make sure you are logged out of any Spotify account in your browser when using the contact form or the username and custom email field will not show up. It is important so that you can enter the information of the account you are having trouble with. If you are logged in with a different account that is not having the problem, that account info will be used and support will be confused.

 

You should get a reply within 24 hours. Don't forget to check your spam folder for responses as they may end up there.

 

If you get an automated reply email telling you to check the help section or the Community, you need to reply directly to support@spotify.com
