Can't multiple people listen simultaneously?

Hi all,

 

Our family has been subscribed to spotify family for multiple months now and we've always had this problem. I can't listen when a family member is listening and vice-versa. Is there any solution to this problem?

Hey @famnavest,

 

It sounds like all Family members are trying to use the same Spotify account to listen to music at the same time. To be able to listen to music at the same time, all members need to have their own Spotify account. You can invite them to the Premium for Family plan by following the instructions from this page: https://support.spotify.com/account_payment_help/premium_for_family/premium-for-family/

 

If they don't have a Spotify account yet, they can sign up on https://spotify.com/signup.

It sounds like all Family members are trying to use the same Spotify account to listen to music at the same time. To be able to listen to music at the same time, all members need to have their own Spotify account.
