Can't play podcasts, it's been months

Can't play podcasts, it's been months

A few months back I switched countries and signed up for the family plan (I was on someone else's family before with the same account).

 

Everything went smoothly but I am unable to play any podcasts. It's like podcasts have vanished altogether, I can't search them and if someone sends me a link, I can't open it (just opens the Spotify app main page) and earlier on when my subscribed podcasts did show on the Spotify app home screen, I couldn't play those either.

Unfortunately podcasts aren't currently available in all regions. 
We could check the availability in your country if it's ok with you to share it 🙂

I'm in Pakistan. I know friends who still use them so could be an account issue?

Podcasts have not been officially released in Pakistan yet. This however, may change in the future as Spotify continues to evolve in order to provide the best service possible to everyone in the world. As soon as we have an update on this, rest assured we'll post an article on our Newsroom website.
