Can’t play songs in recent update

My Question or Issue

With the latest update, while a playlist is playing and I navigate elsewhere and click on a song. It does not pkay. All the time. I just cannot seem to pkay a song anywhere. In searches. From playlists. Very frustrating. I’ve restarted the app many times. Ive rebooted my phone. So I have to reinstall the app too? This is really baffling — doesn’t Spotify do testing before launching updates?

Maybe try emptying the cache memory. Or yes, a clean install will maybe help to solve this problem!

Done both. Doesn’t help. Any other ideas?

You mentioned that music does play on the app sometimes, but navigating away from that playlist and trying to play another song won't work. Does this happen every time, or is it inconsistent/dependent on the playlist you're navigating away from and/or the music you're trying to play after navigating away?

 

Could you also let us know the exact version of the Spotify version your phone is running?
