Can't redeem gift card because I am on family plan.

Hello, I am the current administrator for my family plan on Spotify. I received a couple of Spotify gift cards this past Christmas. I cannot redeem them to my account because I am subscribed to a family plan. I looked for help and found this in the Solutions section. It said in possibility three that I may be using a family plan (I am) and if that was the case, I am to click here for more information, but I was not redirected, no new webpage was opened, and I was still where I was. I think the link is broken, but I would like to redeem my gift cards so that they do not go to waste. Can someone help me?

Thanks for spotting that broken link and welcome to the Community 🙂

 

It's currently not possible to add those gift cards to your plan, but you actually have 12 months to redeem those from date of purchase.

 

If you'd like to do it sooner, we'd suggest submitting a contact form directly and our Support team will gladly help you with this.

I'm having the same issue. I bought a $60.00 gift card that cannot be used on the family plan.
