Can't signup with already purchased gift UK based

I already have a Spotify Premium Account but the number of devices I can have with offline became frustrating so I have just purchased another subscription, that I will just use for myself so that kids can't kick me out with their offline playlists.

So first I just tried to purchase it and I'm travelling in Canada but it would not let me get past the signup screen. I tried a different route and have now purchased as a gift that I sent to myself. Now of course that doesn't work either. I do understand licensing restrictions make this harder but the fact that there is no live chat or anything like that just burns me up. I have had so many stupid problems between the FB integration and it getting tied to the password.

Anyway, enough of the rant. I live in the UK, my credit cards are in the UK and my first account is in the UK and my second account has been paid for with a UK card. How can I get a login so I can properly use what I've already purchased. I will use just this second account for myself and keep the other one open.

Is your new account showing UK as its country on your online overview?

I can't sign up for my new account to even get to an online overview. My current account is UK and I purchased a separate UK based Premium gift card that I sent to a different email address so that I could have two accounts. I can't get to the online overview because I'm in Canada and it recognizes the ISP I suppose. I'm just here for the holidays. Help appreciated 🙂

Is there a way with a gift code to go to a different url that bypasses the standard sign up/in process?

Unfortunately not, the only thing I can think to do would be to use a UK based proxy to create an account which you can then redeem the code on.
