Can't update payment details as no longer a student

I recently got a new card so need to update my payment details to keep my account active as my payment failed. I also just graduated and it's not letting me update my payment details as it cannot verify me as a current student.

I'm willing to pay the non-student discount price, but am worried my account will get cancelled as I cannot update my payment details. How do I update my details without being verified as a student and/or change from a student discount account?

Hey @anamusic,

You can switch back to the regular Premium subscription by cancelling your current subscription and then waiting until it expired. Then you can re-subscribe to Premium on https://spotify.com/premium

Thanks for your advice! Will that lose all my playlists/ ability to listen to music on my phone in the meantime while the subscription is cancelled?

No but offline music will be removed from your device when your account reverts back to Free 🙂
