Can't update payment method

Can't update payment method

When trying to update my credit card information, I get a generic error that simply says "Could not update payment details - Sorry, we could not update your payment details."

 

I have already confirmed all of my information is correct and have used this credit card on other things (today) as well.  I have already read the Help page about payment information, which very unhelpfully suggests I contact my credit card company.

Have you contacted the card issuer to confirm they aren't blocking Spotify?

 

Is the card from the same country as your profile country? Have you tried another browser, and clearing your cache/cookies etc?

This is a reissued card due to expiration.  The card number is the same.  The provider is the same.  Nothing has changed in their status of approving Spotify for charges.  Only the expiration date and CVV2 number are different. 

I would drop the payments team an email using the online contact form and they might be able to work some magic on it for you. 😉
