Can't upgrade to premium using PayPal

Hi

I've tried upgrading my account to premium multiple times in the last month using PayPal as the payment option but it doesn't seem to work. After entering my password in the PayPal payment page and accepting the terms I'm redirected back to a spotify page where nothing seems to happen, except for displaying an image of seemingly happy teenagers jumping in the air at a beach.I suspect they are very happy because they were actaully able to upgrade their account but i can't confirm that.

Checking later, my account does not get upgraded and there is no evidence of the transaction on the PayPal system.

Can you try giving it a go using another browser or incognito window? You might want to use a different payment method (to see if the same thing happens).

Hi 

I used chrome 50.0.2661... and IE 11.0.9600..... and firefox (cant remember the version) on Windows 7

Tried with IE8 and Chrome 49.0.2623 on windows XP

Both windows machines are on the same network

Tried with the samsung Internet and firefox on Android 5, via the mobiler network.

And Firefox on Ubuntu Trusty from another network. 

At this point I'm quite certain it just doesn't work.

I'm having the same issue.
I can get to the PayPal confirmation page, but it just sends me back to the beginning where you enter your postal code.

I'm in Canada. I had Spotify premium once before, but cancelled it once it came free with my Fido phone plan. I'm no longer with them and wish to have premium again - but cant upgrade.
I've even tried making new accounts - nothing works. I've tried different computers, devices and browsers. Tried clearing the cache too.
