Can't use Spotify on PS4

I was trying to use the Spotify app on my console and naturally it asks for the Spotify username and password. I have or had a Spotify account linked to my Facebook but haven't used it in quite a while(Spotify not Facebook) I was able to retrieve the username (I think). It was a series of 10 digits. I also sent a password request to my email. I then clicked the link for password reset and when I typed a password twice and submitted it said that there was an error. I don't want Spotify linked to my Facebook. I just want to be able to listen from PS4. Thanks to anyone that can help.

Hi! I have a PS4 as well and the way I did it was by going to the bottom of the Spotify app while a song was playing. I opened the PS4 "app" and clicked "devices available" on my phone, then clicked on PS4. If you do this, it should work, if not let me know and I will try to work it out with you!
