[Canada] Can I get a Google Home mini if I'm on a Premium for Family or Student discount?

Why is the family plan excluded from the offer?  Only the base premium plan gets the Google home mini? That is complete BS.  Every other Country the family plan was eligible

I think you should solve the problem of the google mini offer because the people with family premium in Canada pay more and don’t have the chance to get it it’s not okay. In the US they really solved the problem. You should do the same.

Go to spitify website. Contact them. Im just a consumer. Thats what i did.
Two days later i recieved the link to order it. If youre not a single
premium member youre out of luck

Thanks Katrina, it does clarify things.  That being said, I still fell that, being on Premium Familly, I haven't been treated fairly with this offer.  So in the future, I hope that Spotify will consider this the next time that they propose such an interesting offer.

i was never told or alerted about the Google Home mini offer and I have been on the Family Premium plan for two years! now they say I cannot have one.......

That is correct. It is only available to single premium members.

Id email support. (Actually, that's what i did) theyll email you link to go
to google store and place your order.

The shipping time is long. Im not to get mine until June 3/4

How do you know when your mini is set to arrive?

After you order they give you an approximate date. Its at bottom of order
form.

When I contacted them they said I couldn't qualify unless I cancelled my
family plan and switched to individual premium membership. Which means my
family would be without their spotify in order to get a google mini.
Despite being loyal and paying, they don't want to give out free things to
family or student plans because you have a discounted membership. Their
customer service is pretty much garbage.

I have the student premium plan and I've had it for a while now, I tried switching to the regular plan for a month to get the google home mini but it didn't let me. I'm not sure how to go about getting the mini 😕

Just saw Australian Family Subscribers get google home mini's for free.

So literally every country that Spotify has offered the mini to included the family subscribers, except Canada.

Just cancelled my subscription. Screw this I'm out.
