Cancel Spotify premium associated with Vodafone

My Question or Issue

I have a Spotify Premium account associated with Vodafone. It was an Entertainment bundle- by buying a Vodafone mobile contract I got Spotify Premium included.

I cancelled my Vodafone contract a few years ago but I still have Spotify Premium on my account.

I have contacted Vodafone who have assured me the Subscription states cancelled on their system and as such they cannot do anymore.

I have contacted Spotify who have said the account is with Vodafone and they need to cancel the subscription.

I have never been charged for this service (it was included in my mobile contract) and after leaving Vodafone, I have still never been billed. Spotify have confirmed as it was bought through Vodafone, they will not charge me. Vodafone have stated as my subscription is cancelled on their end neither will they bill me.

I want to set up Spotify Family but I cannot do this as it says I need to contact Vodafone to cancel my subscription.

Going in circles it feels like.

The info you received from Spotify Support is correct. 🙂 If your subscription is through Vodafone, they are the only one's who can make any changes to it.
