Canceled 30 day free trian and I was being charged for the last 5 months?

I just checked my paypal and I was still being charged monthly. I know I canceled before I should have been charged. Whats the deal and how do I get a refund?

Did you make sure your subscription is canceled? If so, you can also cancel through Payal, click here for information on that. You could also unlink any payment methods to your Spotify account. To request a refund use this form. If you canceled correctly it would say "you are registered for Spotify Premium until (date). After this period your account will become a Spotify Free account unless you choose to renew your subscription. "
