Cancelled 3 month subscription but got charged

Cancelled 3 month subscription but got charged

So my 3 months of premium expired today; however I cancelled it yeseterday and noticed that I got charged for the upcoming month. I emailed the spotify support team and received an email from "support@spotify.com" from a Sergio saying I'd be reimbursed if I reply with my birth date, zip code and last four digits of my credit card. Before I do so I would like to know if this is a legitimate email or a scam. Has anyone been through the same experience?

I JUST did. I canceled my 3 months free the day before and got charged for the next month. Idk what to do. They won't reply to me

Yes this is legitimate.

Support usually replies within 24-48 hours.

If you still have not gotten a reply:

Did you get a confirmation email from the contact form? It should be similar to "Spotify Support Case #XXXXXXX". If so, reply back to that email and tell them you still need help.

If you got an automated reply email telling you to check the help section or the community, you need to reply back to it saying you still need help, even if it's from a no-reply address.

If you never got an email, look in your spam folder to see if there is an email in there. Make sure you are checking the email account you used to sign up to Spotify. You can check the email on your account here.
