Cancelled Subscription, Still Charged.

Hi, 

 

Does anyone know why I would be charged the $9.99 after canceling my premium subscription? I activated the Premium Subscription months ago and used it for a few months. I wasn't using Spotify much and cancelled my subscription a few weeks ago. I made one final payment and had till December 5th to use Spotify. After December 5th, I didn't have access to Spotify Premium. I looked at my credit card statement today and there is a pending charge for $9.99 from Spotify. I log into Spotify today and see that I have been auto-renewed for Spotify Premium after I originally cancelled Spotify Premium. I cancelled Spotify Premium again today, but they changed me $9.99 again after I cancelled my account a few weeks ago , not fair!

 

Is there any way to stop this auto renewal, I don't want to use Spotify Premium any more and want to stop them from charging my credit card? I also attempted to remove my credit card from my Spotify account but was unable to. I am afraid they will keep charging me every month for a service that I don't use. I am also not sure how to contact customer support. I looked around the site and wasn't able to locate an email or phone number for customer support. Please help.

Hello!

You would need to contact Spotify directly for this, you can do that here. If you get an automated reply just reply directly to that email (even if it is a no-reply). They should be able to find out what is going on, we don't really see the billing part  of things in the community 🙂 Also, did you follow all of the steps in this post?
