Cancelled account to re-register with vodafone promotion

hi everyone

I have cancelled my account to take advantage of my 2 year free premium spotify through my new mobile phone contract.  Only problem is, i'm already a premium customer.  I have been told to cancel my current premium subscription, which I have done.  This means my subscription will cease in 2 days.  When i log back in I will then be able to access the promotion.  Great.  However.....

Will I have lost all the music and albums etc in "my music"?  I don't mind if i can't stream it.  I just don't want to lose so that it will be there when i re-subscribe.

Hi there welcome to the community!

Don't worry about that 🙂 Playlists aren't bound to any subscription. This means that if you downgrade to free or upgrade to premium, you will always keep your playlists.

Thanks for quick reply.  However....

It's not playlists that I am concerned about.  It's the hundreds of saved albums that i don't want to lose as "saved".  I dont mind they they will obviously be lost from my phone offline mode.  But under "my music" i have thousands of songs that are saved but not on playlists.

I think both playlists and saved music won't be removed and if something like that happens to you, you can always write to the official support team to ask them to recover your account from a certain point of time 🙂
