Cancelled premium during free trial and still gonna be charged?

Hi,

 

I signed up for the 30 day free trial of premium. I couldn't see how much it was going to be per month if I kept it until I went to the cancellation section and found I would not be able to afford it. Anyway, I knew the date I subscribed and decided I needed to unsubscribe by the 9th of Oct 2012 to not be charged for the next month, but when I cancelled it said it would not be actually cancelled until the 11th!

Doesn't this mean I'll be charged for the next month which is actually only two days? Even though I actually cancelled it on the 6th??? Why does it take 5 whole days for it to take effect? I knew when I needed to do it by and I did it even before that, so it seems a bit ridiculous that it won't cancel until after the 30 days.

I feel really cheated!!

Please tell me I won't be charged or cancel my subscription earlier!

Hey there! Welcome to the community forums 🙂

 

As far as I know as long as your cancel 24 hours before your renewal date then you should not be charged for the next month. There are a few issues ongoing regarding premium subscriptions that might be messing with the dates in your profile.

 

Don't worry, if you are charged for the extra month, you should contact the payments team directly using the contact form, linking to this topic and explaining your situation and they will reimburse you for the payment.
