Cancelling invalid account

So I got a notification from spotify that I was "a new playlist cover star".  That's great but I never signed up for spotify.  I got here and used forgot password and put in my email address and was able to log in.  Now I want to cancell this account however the person who set it up with my email is subscribed through iTunes.  It's not my itunes account and none of my cards have been charged.  But I want this account cancelled!  How do I go about this?  Thanks.
