Cancelling subscription of deactivated facebook account

Cancelling subscription of deactivated facebook account

I have two facebook accounts connected to Spotify, one of them being a premium subscription service and the other one free. I deactivated the facebook account linked to the premium Spotify account, and so cannot log in with that on the Spotify website. Does this mean my subscription is now cancelled or will I still be charged? Thanks

Hello @alexwilliams. Thanks for posting in the Spotify Community!

I hope your new year is off to a great start! In regards to your Spotify Premium subscription, unfortunately, simply deactivating the Facebook account you use to login to Spotify does not cancel any subscriptions automagically. (Facebook does not inform Spotify when someone deactivates their account.)

If you can, re-activate your Facebook account and cancel any subscriptions associated on your Spotify Subscription page linked below. Then you can deactivate Facebook again safely without worrying about being charged.

If you cannot (or don't want to) re-activate your Facebook account, then you'll want to reach out to Spotify Support with as much account information as possible so they can help get your subscription cancelled properly.

You can contact support via any method below:

If you receive an automated email, simply reply and an agent will get back to you as soon as possible.

Let me know if this helpled you out by marking this post as the accepted solution, and by replying below with how it went for you. Keep on rockin'!
