Cancelling subscription

Cancelling subscription

Can someone please help, my credit card has been charged for a premium account i dont have. There is no help in cancelling my total subscription as i only have the free account and not premium for what they charged me. Going to the account link and clicking on subscription doesnt allow you to cancel. This app has not worked since installing the free trial and there is no easy way to just cancel the subscription after the trial. There is no phone number or contact person to make this happen. Need immediate response or advice.

If they won't help you, call your CC company and ask for them to dispute the charge.

Hi, I am in exactly the same position. It doesn't give me the option to cancel after I had it free for 3 months. All the info says click on subscription and it gives you all these options, but it doesn't. I have managed to close my account, but unsure if this will cancel my actual subscription and worried I'm still going to be charged. Any help out there?

If you're getting charged, it probably means you're paying a different account from the one you're currently using. Checking your receipts in your Account Settings is a way to confirm that.

 

Like @Gooey said, you should fill out the contact form, and someone from Spotify will be happy to help you within 24 hrs. Don't forget to check your spam folder for responses as they may end up there.

 

If you get an automated email directing you to the community or help pages, you need to reply directly to support@spotify.com and one of the customer services agents will get back to you.
