Just to check, does your account show up as Premium here: http://spoti.fi/2e15Z8R? If not, itโs possible you have a second account, which is the one that needs cancelling. If youโre seeing Free, are there any other email addresses you could have used to register with Spotify? It's worth checking those inboxes to see if you have any Spotify emails -- that will mean your extra account is registered with that email. I'd then recommend trying to cancel again, from that account.
If this isnโt the case, i'd recommend reaching out to Spotify Support. Theyโll be able to take a closer look backstage, and help you to get things canceled:

If you get an automated reply email telling you to check the Knowledgebase or the Spotify Community, you need to reply back to it, even if it's from a no-reply address. Spotify Support usually replies within 24-48 hours.
