Cannot Login with Either Facebook or Device Password

Cannot Login with Either Facebook or Device Password

Dear Support -

After clearing my browser history on my phone, I could no longer log in to Spotify.  I tried logging in using Facebook, as usual, and it gave me an error consistently.  I made sure I was logged in to Facebook on my phone and it still did not work.

I did some snooping around online and attempted to create a device password per the community recommendation.  That also is not working.

Also, my account email is still showing as an outdated email address even though I have changed it and updated it in my Facebook a long time ago. (I had to jump through many hoops just to access my old one to check for technical support and my device password.)

Please help, Support.  I use Spotify to help me sleep at night due to anxiety.  Thank you.

We'd recommend uninstalling the existing app on your device, then download the latest official version here.
