Cannot Search for my account

Hi recently I have been noticing that people are unable to find me on spotify. When they search my full spotify name it says no accounts exist. For someone to follow me I have to follow them first and then they have to go through their followers to find me. Please help! I have tried to see if somehow my account is on some invisible setting but have had no luck. Any assistance woould be greatly appreciated!

Search results are based on a mix of current and popularity but vary from user to user and may be based on personal listening preferences. The more followers you have, the more likely is it that you'll appear in ‘Search’.

Thanks for the response; I understand this but it seems like a huge flaw
that people are physically unable to find me on Spotify even if they search
my full name. I play playlists at the coffee shop I work at and often
customers ask for my Spotify information so that they can have access to my
playlists and everytime they are unable to find me because it says that
nothing under that name exists on Spotify.

Also, this did not used to happen. Only within the past two or three months
is my account unsearchable. I definitely feel like there is a way to fix
this.

Users can always look up your profile by entering spotify:user:[your username] into their Search bar. 🙂

Thanks. You'll have to replace [your username] with your username. Your username is not your display name. You should be able to find out what your username is by going onto your profile and clicking the three dots -> Copy Spotify URI.

Oh okay thanks, didn't know my display name was not my username. I checked and my username is just a bunch of numbers...is that right? Is there a way to change that so people are able to search for me without having to know the 10 digit code? Seems like there should be a way so that people can search for me by my name if I am able to change my username to an actual name instead of numbers.
