Cannot change device password

As the title says. When i try to change to change the device password i get an unspecified error. I have tried several times now.

I do the following:

1. I request the set device password email

2. Click link in email

3. write password twice and click set

Can you try using an incognito window? If that doesn't work, you can generate the device password from Facebook. Head over to Settings > Security > App passwords.
