Cannot change my settings-top artists/tracks! Extremely annoying >:(

Hi.

Just made the BIG DUMB mistake to turn on spotify social or whatever you call it.

Then I tried to change the settings in : (Mac: ) Spotify-->Preferences.

I un-checked the squares for showing top artists and top tracks publik, but it doesn't work!!

It STILL shows. Why oh why did I decide to try this stupid social sharing- s%&t.. Can someone help me pleease, please, pretty please? I want to turn off my top artists/tracks so they dont show in publik when someone visits my profile.

Welcome to the Community.

The Top Artists and Top Tracks section is actually stored on the cache on your computer. After turning this off, you'll still see them on your own account temporarily. However, users viewing your account on other accounts will not be able to see your Top Artists or Tracks.
