Cannot claim artist despite providing Youtube, Bandcamp link

Dear artist community,

I am currently trying to claim a side project artist profile on Spotify but the support team denies any of my efforts to do so. 

First I provided them my Youtube channel link, then a Bandcamp link. Every time, they cannot verify it because they "cannot see your mail address publicly". I neither have an Instagram, nor Twitter, nor a page for that artist. The artist definitely exist, it has been existing for 15 years on Youtube and Bandcamp now. Besides, the mail address can definitely be seen on my Youtube account. 

What can I do in this case? Is this process manageable without some burner account on Meta? I appreciate any help from you guys. Thanks a lot.

Have you tried putting your email address into the description of your channel on YouTube? If so, they should be able to see it.

P.S.: depending on the distributor you're using, you might even be able to get access to Spotify for Artists instantly.
