My Question or Issue

 

My spouse cannot create an account to sign up to be added to my Premium Duo subscription.  

 

When trying to create a new account she gets this error:

"This address is already linked to an existing account. To continue, log in."

So then she tried to log in, and she gets this error:

"Email or username isn't linked to a Spotify account"

So she cannot create an account and cannot log in.  Any assistance with adding my spouse to my Premium Duo is greatly appreciated.  Thank you

This behavior is usually related to a deactivated account. In this case, we'd suggest asking your spouse to reach out to our Support team privately via the link here so that the account can be checked and they can provide further help if possible.

Thank you Novy!  My spouse has reached out to Spotify Support and they have shared that the issue may be a deactivated account, as you have speculated.  We're working with support to get the account deleted and recreated.  Thank you for reaching out!
