My Question or Issue
I need some help at the moment, I recently downloaded my Spotify after deleting it a while back with songs downloaded and now my Spotify will no longer let me download as it says the max device limit has been reached. It says to remove all downloads from another device in order to listen on my phone. The thing is I have no other devices with music downloaded, my old iPhone 8 is no longer using my account and there’s no downloads. However my current phone says to remove all downloads but I don’t have any on the app. Is there a way to reset offline devices ? I’m getting a little bit upset with this as I have no way to save music for offline listening now . Please respond back thank you .

Hello everybody, For a while I've been using the download feature of the premium plan without any problem. Now that I have a new smartwatch, I connected my Spotify account to it and downloaded a few songs. Shortly after that, whenever I tried downloading something new in the Spotify app on my phone, I got a notification saying I've reached the maximum limit of offline devices. After a quick research I found out I could only have 5 devices have downloads on them. I went ahead and deleted all downloads off of an old smartwatch that was connected to my account and even disconnected that smartwatch from my account. As this didn't solve the problem I reinstalled the Spotify app on my phone and nothing changed - except for now all my previous downloads were gone. Old posts and strategies to solve the problem like mentioned here https://community.spotify.com/t5/Accounts/Need-your-offline-devices-reset-Read-here/m-p/173886#M2178... Relate to a Spotify page that no longer exists. As my last shot I even logged off of all my devices via the Spotify website and then logged back into the ones I'm currently using but this also didn't help. I'm now stuck in this situation since 5 days. I'm abroad, so I have to sacrifice my mobile data to listen to music and this at poor quality to save some data. I feel like the Spotify support is not helpful at all, you have to click through endless pages of FAQ that are not intuitively built without getting the option to speak to the customer support. I'm sorry to be bothering the volunteers that contribute to this forum now with my problems but I see no other way of resolving them as I've not found a post dealing with this issue.

My Question or Issue
I've just changed to a new iPhone 16 pro max but when I try to download any music I get the above message. I've deleted the app on several other devices and I do not have access to my old iPhone to delete any downloads there. I'm very confused. Are you able to help please? Thanks
Hi there, I am the account owner for our family subscription, it says you can add six family members at the same address, I added 3 of my family members plus myself, which leaves 2 more spaces for me to add a couple more family members, anyway, when I push the download button on my playlist, I keep getting a notification popping up saying i need to free up a spot in my settings or someone else has to remove all their downloads?? I don't know why this is happening when there are two more spaces yet to be filled?
Thanks
Hi, I bought a new phone and installed Spotify. In my old Spotify I used "favorites" as my main song library and everything was working fine and all of my songs have been downloaded. But when I opened it in my new phone and I tried to download my music, it wrote me something about limits. It never happened in my old phone. Also I am using the basic premium and we are connected there with 4 other members (but two of them are not downloading any music). So can someone help me? I tried to log out all of the devices also tried to reinstall the app. Thanks
