I was forced to log out of Spotify, and when I logged back in, it put me on a free account. I am a paid user and have been for years. I want to get my playlists back, as I am currently still paying for them.

Have you tried with any other usernames or email addresses you might have? Also, if your account was created using your Facebook credentials, you can try accessing it by clicking on the blue "Log in with Facebook" button.
