Cannot re-join family subscription after being kicked out for not verifying email address

1. I have been used Spotify for a long time using Facebook login

2. Recently accepted an invitation to a family premium

3. Somehow Spotify emailed me at my Facebook account's email to verify email (Hello? Im a long time user), and it went to junk mail

4. Without any notification on the Spotify app, my premium account was revoked.

5. I had a invite to let me join back, but the error message appeared "You're unable to join this Family plan. Need help? Read our FAQ."

Hey @11128946379, welcome to the community!

 

If the address used to join the Family plan doesn't match the one used by the owner, Spotify will send you an email to verify the address, not your account.

 

In case the steps to validate the correct address are not followed, your account is removed from the plan since the Premium for Family plan is only for people that live in the same physical address.

 

If you don't share the same address as the plan owner, you can still get the regular Premium subscription.
