Cannot upgrade to paid subscription

I am attempting to upgrade from a free subscription to a paid subscription.

I am taken to this page and can get no further:

When I select "Start 30-day trial now" the button flashes but nothing else happens.

I have tried with Firefox and Chrome web browsers.

I have read the Spotify help pages and cannot find any useful assistance although this page is most relevant:

Cannot activate trial 

On this forum I have seen similar issues but could not find any help that resolves the issue.

• I have the correct post code for my country which is New Zealand.
• I don't have a payment card resgistered as I am unable to enter or edit credit card details.
• I am a new user so I have not previously had a trial or paid subscription.

P.S. Spotify doesn't give me much confidence when this is the only support forum and it says "Please bear in mind that the Community is not an official Spotify support service".

I recommend reaching out to Spotify Support. They can be reached through their Twitter Handle @SpotifyCares, Facebook Page Spotify Cares, or through the online contact form.

If you submit the contact form instead of the Twitter or Facebook Message, make sure to check your inbox and junk folder for an email from Spotify.

Spotify Support has been useless so far:

• First response was a robot telling me to do what I'd already tried.
• Second response was a cut and paste of the standard payment card help.
• I'm now on the third round of trying to get them to understand that I cannot even enter my payment card info.

I'm now looking at using one of the competition.

Thanks but the problem is now resolved. Although I've no idea why I couldn't upgrade on both Chrome and Firefox. It worked fine on Edge.
