Cant change country! (even after updating payment options)

Spotify will not let me change my country to the US even though i'm here with a US ip and I updated the payment to a US card...

If you had already updated your payment details with a card from the US, the country has probably been changed. But keep in mind that you won't see this change on your end until the next renewal date.
