Cant change email address

Cant change email address

When I put in my email address it tells me it is already being used. So I try resetting password for that email and it says not an active account. What do I do?

So you mean when you try creating an account, Spotify tells you that you have already opened an account but when resetting the password, it's telling you that you don't have an active account? Sound so strange, right?

 

If you want to check if you already have an account with your email address, I suggest you contact Spotify directly, so they can locate if there is any.

I have an account with one email but want to change to another. It is

Yes! They were right on it. I had to follow the instructions above and
contact them with my issue and they fixed it all. Very fast too!!

what did they do to fix it, i just emailed them how long will it take?

 

They closed the free account opened by Facebook. Then they changed my Spotify email. Then they linked my Spotify and Facebook accounts again for me. Done within 24 hours.

I told you, scrubradio! They were really fast in answering emails.

 

So, I would suggest hannahstyyles that you also try. It could be just less than 24 hours for them to resolve your concern.
